Virtual Worlds: From Arts to Professional Applications Without Leaving our Classrooms

Giovanni Zimotti, Director of Spanish Language Instruction at the University of Iowa, will discuss his work developing and curating Virtual Reality environments to support language acquisition and transcultural contact.

 

On Monday, November 7, Professor Zimotti will lead a workshop entitled Spanish for the professions: create and adapt Open Educational Resource (OER) materials for inclusive classrooms that represent local cultures and communities. 3:00 pm Central, 003 Furman Hall.
