Umang Chaudhry

Umang Chaudhry is a Senior Data Scientist at Vanderbilt University’s Data
Science Institute, where he consults on data science projects across
academia and industry. He specializes in machine learning, deep learning,
and cloud computing, leading interdisciplinary research teams and
developing AI-driven solutions for assistive technologies.
At Vanderbilt, he teaches workshops on data science tools and has optimized
deep neural network training as a system administrator for DGX A100 GPUs.
He holds an M.S. in Data Science from Vanderbilt University, where he also
earned a B.S. in Earth and Environmental Science with a focus on science
communication.
