Qianyi Sun
Qianyi’s path into the field of data science took a series of winding turns. During his undergraduate, he changed his major from mechanical engineering to electronic information engineering. He believed the field of electronic information engineering was what he wanted. But it was not for him. When he came to touch with mathematical model which is connected to the real-world problems, he expressed high passion and interests on the field of data science. He found the right way for himself. In his second year undergraduate, when he served as the captain of the school mathematical team, he devoted himself to stimulating team members and had good cooperation with them. Qianyi had led his team stand out among international-wide contest in 2017—-“American Undergraduate Mathematical Modeling Contest’ Meritorious Winner. Now he is studying in master of Data Science in Vanderbilt University and seeking for a job related to user experience or business data analysis. On his spare time, he likes reading history books, playing soccer and traveling to experience something new.
