What is your educational background? I have a Bachelors in Biology from Vanderbilt University.
What is your working experience? I worked as a data analyst at MM LaFleur (a fashion company) and Home Chef (a meal-kit company) primarily focused on improving customer experience and retention.
Why data science? From my experience working in e-commerce, I understand the importance of making data-driven decisions to scale a business. I want to further expand my knowledge of analytics and programming to help companies utilize their data to grow their businesses.
Why did you choose Vanderbilt? From my experience as an undergraduate at Vanderbilt, I knew that the program will be challenging yet fun, and I appreciate the small cohort size since it will allow me to work very closely with my peers and professors.
What are your hobbies / what do you enjoy doing outside of work and academics? I am a big fan of group fitness classes – my favorite is Barry’s Bootcamp. I like to spend time with friends over a good meal and drinks. Occasionally, I like to spend the day binging Netflix with lots of snacks!
