Katie is a rising senior from Atlanta, Georgia. She is majoring in computer science and physics and minoring in math. On campus she has taken leadership roles in the Nashville Navigators and club volleyball. Her current research interest lies in gravitational-wave astrophysics. She hopes to be able to combine her two interests, computer science and astrophysics, through her work with the Data Science Institute, and ultimately to pursue a career in this intersection.
