Emilio is a research assistant and lab manager to Professor Gilbert Gonzales at the Center for Medicine, Health, and Society. He will be working on two projects this summer as a DSI-SRP fellow under the guidance of Professor Gonzales. After graduating from Vanderbilt, Emilio hopes to attend graduate school to study global health and then work in both the nonprofit sector and academia. In addition, he is interested in health equity, implementation science, and public health program design, monitoring, and evaluation.
