Ellen Clayton

Professor of Pediatrics, Law, and Health Policy

I co-lead a transdisciplinary project exploring genetic privacy, convening experts from data science to the social sciences and humanities as well as another project that attempts to understand and shape the law relevant to genomics, including that related to privacy. I have studied the issues posed by genomics research, including the extent to which individuals should be able to control access to data about them and acceptable governance strategies.
