Why data science? It’s exciting! You can work in tech, finance, and even professional sports as a data scientist. Having the ability to take data and build models to solve problems in all aspects of life is something that is very exciting.
Why did you choose Vanderbilt? Vanderbilt is a school I only could have dreamed about attending and when I got the acceptance I knew that is where I wanted to be. With Vandy having a fantastic data science program, an impeccable reputation, and a beautiful campus it made my decision to become a Commodore very easy. Living in Music City and going to Vanderbilt is a dream come true!
What are your hobbies / what do you enjoy doing outside of work and academics? I love watching New York Yankees baseball, New York Rangers hockey, and any form of motorsports.
