Data Science Institute

Claire is a fourth-year student from rural Minnesota. She is majoring in neuroscience and minoring in scientific computing and French. Outside of academics, Claire is involved in Vanderbilt Student Volunteers for Science, Alternative Spring Break, and she works as a writing consultant at the Writing Studio. For her, data science and computational modeling is a way to merge her two academic passions: neuroscience and mathematics. She hopes to continue to use data science and computational methods throughout her intended future career as a physician-scientist.
