Data Science Institute

Chetan is a rising senior from Frisco, Texas. He is majoring in Neuroscience and Medicine, Health and Society and plans to minor in Data Science. Outside of academics, Chetan is primarily involved with the Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC), the Vanderbilt Cancer Society (VCS) and works as a residential advisor (RA) for first-year students. Chetan sees computational analysis as an important part of his research work and as something that is quite important in the current job market. While his eventual goal is to be a physician, he is confident that experience with applying computational analysis to data will be quite beneficial. In his free time, Chetan enjoys getting to hang out with people and probably spends far too much time looking up and watching anything related to politics. Chetan is most excited about growing as a researcher and hearing from experts about jobs and applications of his work as well as skills gained in the summer program.
