Why data science? My love for math and computer science makes it easier for me to enjoy data science. It’s also because it’s such a versatile field and as someone still trying to figure out which field I’m most passionate about, having the technical and soft skills will hopefully guide me towards my specific field.
Why did you choose Vanderbilt? The interdisciplinary curriculum matched my interests and also wanted to be close to family.
What are your hobbies / what do you enjoy doing outside of work and academics? Hiking, jumping rope, gardening
