We’re pleased to be able to introduce Zhaoqian (Joshua) Su as a new DSI Postdoctoral Fellow! Joshua comes to us from the Einstein College of Medicine where as a Postdoctoral Fellow he applied deep learning to problems related to the formation protein structures such as peptide fibrils. As a member of the DSI Data Science team, Joshua will be working on a number of projects applying DL models to scientific problems through research collaborations, with a particular concentration on applications in the basic sciences. Joshua’s faculty mentor is Prof. Jens Meiler in the Vanderbilt School of Medicine and the College of Arts and Science. The DSI Postdoctoral Fellows program is part of our Deep Learning Initiative, supporting the adoption of AI techniques in fields across Vanderbilt.
