Vanderbilt and AllianceBernstein showcase neurodiversity-inclusive innovation for the workplace

The Vanderbilt University Frist Center for Autism and Innovation, in collaboration with AllianceBernstein and Vanderbilt’s Corporate Partnerships team, hosted an event at the firm’s New York City office on Thursday, April 17, to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month. The “From Autism Acceptance to Advantage: Learning from Autism to Create Innovative Workplaces and Teams” event showcased examples of cutting-edge technologies and management strategies to help organizations tap into unique pools of talent and become employers of choice.

Over the past year, the university has worked closely with community organizations and local civic leaders to foster opportunities for businesses, startups, investors, researchers and policy influencers to come together and exchange ideas that could take root and launch in Nashville.

Vanderbilt, Nissan showcase partnership and set stage for future collaboration

Vanderbilt and Nissan showcased their partnership during an event in September that included more than 85 representatives from the university and Nissan North America. Participants heard from Vanderbilt Chancellor Daniel Diermeier and Nissan North America Chairperson Jérémie Papin, and discussion was moderated by Vice Provost for Career Advancement and Engagement Alex Sevilla.

Vanderbilt University joins Mayor O’Connell and community partners to launch Nashville Catalyst Fund

Vanderbilt University has joined Mayor Freddie O’Connell, the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, First Horizon Bank, the Metro Housing Division and other funding partners in launching the Nashville Catalyst Fund. This innovative initiative aims to address Nashville’s affordable housing challenges through a new tool designed to create, preserve and develop more affordable housing options across the city.
