Child Care Application

Vanderbilt University families: to be placed on the VCFC waiting list, an application and the application fee must be submitted to the Child & Family Center.

Effective July 1, 2018, all Vanderbilt University Medical Center employees should visit for all Child and Family Center information and inquiries.

The Family Center

The Family Center offers assistance in balancing family needs with work life.

We offer resources and links to services in the area of adult care, summer camps, before and after school care, and tutorial services.



Back-up Care

The following options are available for back-up care that serves dependents of all ages: provides back-up child care and back-up adult care services for infants, preschoolers, school-agers, and adults. Vanderbilt Home Care Services offers skilled and non-skilled services to meet the needs of the clients and their families at home or in the hospital.
