General Dynamics Mission Systems Neurodiversity Internship: Apply Now for Summer 2026

The Frist Center for Autism and Innovation is excited to share an outstanding opportunity for neurodivergent undergraduate students interested in engineering and technology careers.

General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), in partnership with BroadFutures, is now accepting applications for their Summer 2026 Neurodiversity Internship Program. This paid, 10-week internship is specifically designed to support young people with learning disabilities and/or autism as they gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge engineering and technology fields.

Program Highlights:

  • Duration: 8-10 weeks during summer 2026
  • Compensation: Paid internship with competitive wages
  • Support: Dedicated coaching and mentorship throughout the internship
  • Experience: Real-world engineering projects at a leading defense and technology company
  • Locations: Scottsdale AZ, Pittsfield MA, Bloomington MN, Huntsville AL, and McLeansville NC.
