Destiny D. Harrison

Overview:

Destiny Harrison is a first-year graduate student in Chemistry. She is still in the process of finding a lab group to get her PhD with. While her research efforts have been historically focused toward natural products and their therapeutic potential, Destiny appreciates interdisciplinary perspective and ideas. Destiny recognizes the importance of nanoscale science and engineering in development of therapeutics. 

As a first-year, Destiny is eager to participate in outreach efforts, as it fosters appreciation for the sciences. She will participate in VINSE outreach programming for the rest of her time at Vanderbilt, with special excitement for the Blackberry Solar Cell Experiment!
