What are podcasts and how do I subscribe to them? Podcasts allow you to listen, via your iPod, computer or any other mp3 player, to news stories and interviews about Vanderbilt people, events and research as well as to hear lectures and discussions on timely topics.
Users subscribe to receive Vanderbilt podcasts with the help of iTunes or other software—a listing of free software is available at
ipodder.org. Once you have downloaded this software and subscribed to receive Vanderbilt podcasts, your computer will regularly check the Vanderbilt site for updates and download them to your mp3 player as mp3s, where you can listen to or watch them at your leisure.
