Building a Custom Skill in ChatGPT

This hands-on session introduces faculty to building a custom skill in ChatGPT: a reusable set of instructions and resources that captures a teaching task you do again and again, like giving feedback on a common assignment, drafting practice questions, or turning course materials into study guides. Participants walk through identifying the right task, writing clear instructions, adding reference files, and testing the skill until it reliably does the job. No prior technical experience required. Bring a recurring task in mind and leave with a working skill you can use right away.
