Program Overview

In this study center program, students will witness the humanitarian response to the regional refugee cirisis, focusing on refugee health. Students will also get the opportunity to explore different regions of Jordan as well deepen their understanding of the effects of refugees influx to Europe during a Switzerland excursion. Coursework includes learning Arabic, the local language of Jordan.In addition to their coursework, students will partake in either an independent study project or an internship with a community organization. As a required piece of this program, students will live in Amman with a host family and immerse themselves in the day-to-day life of a typical Arab home.
