Program Overview

Located in an island nation northeast of Australia and New Zealand, this program examines the social, economic, and political impacts of globalization, westernization, and climate change in Oceania. In addition to coursework, students complete an independent study project during the last month of their program. Students experience a breadth of Pacific Island life through two unique homestays in Amaile and Apia, Samoa, an orientation in Hawaii, and a nine day trip to Fiji.
