Financial Assistance Programs

The Student Critical Support Fund provides an opportunity for students experiencing a financial hardship that poses significant risks to their educational success to apply for financial support. It comprises the Student Care Assistance Program (SCAP), Student Hardship Fund, and the Reproductive Health and Parenting Resource Coordinator.

Student Care Assistance Program (SCAP)

May assist with costs of medical and/or mental health expenses (e.g., costs for co-payments, medications, transportation to medical appointments, and/or other costs related to medically necessary care), for eligible students who require care that cannot be provided on campus, and without which would pose a significant risk to ongoing educational success. 

Student Hardship Fund

May assist with expenses related to unexpected events (e.g., urgent airline tickets for a funeral or housing and meal costs due to a natural disaster) that create a financial hardship with a direct impact on academic success. More details are included on the application.

Reproductive Health and Parenting Fund

May assist with the reimbursement of medical or mental health expenses related to reproductive health and/or early parenting.
