The mission of the Student Center for Belonging and Communities (SCBC) is to serve students by fostering meaningful connections through intentional reflection, critical dialogue, and engaged participation within our Vanderbilt community and beyond.

School Year: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Summer: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Signature Programs
SCBC’s signature programming is grounded in advancing belonging across differences. Our office offers vibrant programming that centers and fosters community.
Student Organizations
SCBC supports three major showcases every year, and over 40 student organizations that aim to cultivate celebration around their community and provide education.
Belonging Initiatives
SCBC provides support to all students, including first-generation college students, low-income students, students with disabilities, and students from various backgrounds.
