The Colorectal Research Center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is looking for a research person for a one-year position starting August 2026. We are a group of seven colorectal surgeons actively engaged in a wide range of health services, clinical, and translational research.

| Full Description | Fellows will receive close mentorship from faculty and learn statistical methods with access to a full-time biostatistician and other resources available through the School of Medicine and School of Public Health. There is a wide array of clinical research opportunities including inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, colorectal cancer, quality and safety, and education. The individual will work closely with collaborators from the Vanderbilt School of Engineering and Vanderbilt Institute for Surgery and Engineering (VISE). Additionally, they will be expected to participate in journal club, weekly research meetings, assist in writing grant proposals, and interact with cross-institutional collaborators.
