A panel dedicated to the exploration of upcoming and relevant potential threats. Panelist perspectives include the principal cyber advisor to the Secretary of the Army, Michael Sulmeyer, Chief Information Officer to the U.S. State Department Kelly Fletcher, Chief of Staff for CISA Kiersten Todt, and VP of Technology for In-Q-Tel as well as academic expertise from Jules White, Associate Dean of Strategic Learning Programs in the School of Engineering at Vanderbilt.
Summit Keynote: Modern Conflict and the Future of Research
Director Gil Herrera, Director of Research, NSA, shares his perspective on future research requirements surrounding the issue of upcoming and emerging threats in his keynote address.
Summit Session: AI and the Future of National Security
An Interdisciplinary lunch panel that will hone its discussion on the role of AI in and the potential threats and opportunities it poses to national security. Perspectives will include industry and non-profit R&D leaders Thomas A. Campbell, Co-Director, LEAP Manufacturing; Founder & CEO, FutureGrasp, Eric Chewning, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Development, HII, and Charles Clancy, Senior Vice President, General Manager, MITRE Labs, Chief Futurist. The panel will be rounded out by the expertise of Sarah Shoker, a research scientist from OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT.
