Noel Ifeanyi Alumona

Noel Ifeanyi Alumona is a graduate student studying Special Education at Vanderbilt University. After meeting and having a conversation with Barack Obama in Johannesburg in 2018, Noel founded Boys Champions- a primary preventive youth-led nonprofit organization that is committed to providing safe place for boys and men by engaging young men, teaching them healthy masculinity and how to relate to females respectfully, with the mission to ending violence against women and girls in Nigeria. Noel Ifeanyi Alumona is an Obama Foundation Fellow, United States Institute of Peace Fellow, Generation Change Fellow, United Nations Youth Assembly Delegate and the first African and Nigerian to win the AFS Award for Young Global Citizens in New York City.
