Tyler Culp

Tyler Culp is a Ph.D. student in New Testament and Early Christianity and is minoring in Hebrew Bible. He holds a Master of Theological Studies from Hazelip School of Theology at Lipscomb University and a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. Tyler is interested in the socio-cultural contexts of Ancient Israel and the New Testament world. He is also interested in New Testament textual criticism. In particular, he hopes to examine how socio-cultural contexts and literary criticism can inform decisions made in New Testament textual criticism. Before starting doctoral studies at Vanderbilt University, he was employed in the Christian publishing industry.
