THIS WEEK:
A Presentation and Discussion with Fairplay
The Student Council for Exceptional Children will be hosting leaders from FairPlay, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that strives to make play accessible for children with disabilities. Fun fact: FairPlay was founded by a Vanderbilt student (who is now an alumna!)
This presentation and discussion will focus on the work that FairPlay does, including but not limited to: running workshops on toy adaptation and accessibility, creating adapted toy libraries in community spaces, and promoting education and advocacy for children with disabilities and their families.
If you are passionate about play, making play accessible for all children, inclusion, advocacy, accessibility, engineering, hands-on volunteering, and more, we hope to see you there!

Through his career, Chris has held administrative positions at Duke University, Berklee College of Music, and now Vanderbilt, where he began as Director of LGBTQI Life in 2013.
