Campus Dining relaunches Get Well Meals through VandyCart for students feeling under the weather

Vanderbilt Campus Dining has relaunched its popular Get Well Meals program, making it easier than ever for students to order a comforting meal when they’re not feeling their best. Now available through VandyCart on the Transact Mobile app, the program allows students to conveniently request nourishing meal kits that can be picked up by a friend or roommate.

Developed in consultation with Emily Svennevik, registered dietitian for Campus Dining, each Get Well Meal is designed to provide simple, restorative nutrition to support recovery and well-being.

Students can choose from two balanced options:

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal, banana, Gatorade and a One protein bar
  • Lunch/Dinner: Soup, Gatorade, orange and a One protein bar

A vegan soup option is also available for students following a plant-based diet.

Students can place an order by opening the Transact Mobile app, selecting VandyCart, and choosing Get Well Meals from the menu. Orders can be paid for using a meal swipe, Meal Money, Commodore Cash, or credit card and picked up at Commons, Kissam, Rand, or Highland.

Originally launched in 2019, the Get Well Meals program reflects Campus Dining’s ongoing commitment to convenience, care and student wellness. The new VandyCart integration makes it faster and easier for students to access nourishing meals when they need them most.
