Student Advisory Board Mission
The Dialogue Vanderbilt Student Advisory Board ensures student voices are integral in the direction and activities of Dialogue Vanderbilt.
Student board members reflect the diversity of perspectives and experiences that comprise Vanderbilt’s undergraduate population. Participants contribute their ideas and expertise to programming initiatives and gain opportunities to engage with and be mentored by guest speakers and fellows, Vanderbilt faculty and staff, engaged alumni, and others.

Maddie Freeland
Maddie Freeland is a sophomore from San Francisco, CA. Maddie is majoring in physics and law, history, and society, with a minor in political science. In addition to the Dialogue Vanderbilt Student Advisory Board, Maddie is involved with Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, 180 Degrees Consulting, Institute of National Security, Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and conducts research for the physics department.
What is the best part about being on the Student Advisory Board?
The connection to students who really care about discourse and creating a strong culture of open and inclusive speech across campus
Noah Jenkins
Noah Jenkins is a senior from Kissimmee, FL. Noah is majoring in economics and history and philosophy, with a minor in business. During his time as Student Advisor with Dialogue Vanderbilt, Noah has also been in a leadership position with the Vanderbilt College Republicans, and helped reestablish the College Republican/Democrat Debate as a highly anticipated annual series. As Noah prepares to graduate this year, he is interested in pursuing a legal career.

Caroline Weller
Caroline Weller is a junior from Pacific Palisades, CA, majoring in human and organizational development, and minoring in business and art history. Caroline is a first-year member of the Dialogue Vanderbilt Student Advisory Board, and she has joined students in creating content for social media and establishing community partnerships. Caroline will be studying abroad in Paris in spring 2026.
Why did you get involved in Dialogue Vanderbilt?
