Joanna Wang is a rising junior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Math and Physics. As a transfer student, she has attended Georgia Institute of Technology for a year, where she studied Aerospace Engineering and was a member of the Honors Program. At Vanderbilt, she continues to explore her interests in STEM through different classes and research. Her current research interests lie in the area of gravitational-wave astrophysics. On campus, she takes leadership roles in Transfer Connect and VU-WISE and is active in many other organizations.
