Get Involved

Connect with others, build new skills, and explore shared interests through our Center’s groups! Open to students and faculty interested in participating, these groups provide opportunities to learn, collaborate, exchange ideas, and engage with topics beyond the classroom.

CCSB Expansion Microscopy User Group

The CCSB Expansion Microscopy User Group brings together Vanderbilt researchers interested in expansion microscopy to share protocols, troubleshoot challenges, exchange ideas, and learn about new methods and applications.

Whether you’re new to expansion microscopy or an experienced user, we welcome you to join our growing community.

For more information, please contact Monica Brown at monica.e.brown@vanderbilt.edu.

CCSB Data Club

The CCSB Data Club meets on the last Tuesday of each month from 1:30–2:30 p.m. to explore data analysis, with a primary focus on single-cell and spatial transcriptomics. The club is open to all trainees interested in working with these data types, learning new computational tools, and sharing analytical approaches.

Meetings cover a range of topics, from introductory concepts and analysis workflows to data wrangling, visualization, and troubleshooting. Participants are encouraged to bring new or existing datasets, ask questions, discuss challenges, and learn from one another in a collaborative environment.

Come join us! Meetings are held in MRB 3, Room 9160AA (the conference room next to the MSRC Admin space). Lunch is provided, so bring your data, your questions, or simply your curiosity—and enjoy a free meal while connecting with others interested in data.
