Kathleen Justice-Moore received a B.A. degree from Arizona State University in 1987 followed by a J.D. degree in 1991 from Vanderbilt Law School.
Ms. Justice-Moore began practicing law immediately following her graduation from Vanderbilt Law School, specializing in employment law and litigation. She joined the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation in 2001 as Associate General Counsel and Research Director and, in 2004, became a trustee of the foundation, which grants awards to support environmental conservation, scientific research, patient care, and the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a former trustee of Ocean Conservancy and the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health.
At Vanderbilt, Ms. Justice-Moore was a member of the Law School’s Board of Advisors from 2010 to 2013 and she and her husband have endowed the Justice-Moore Family Scholarship to provide support based on financial need to deserving students enrolled at the Law School, requesting that preference be given to students who show an interest in working in the non-profit sector or in public service upon graduation.
