TOMORROW: Frist Center for Autism and Innovation Hosts August Salon Series Lecture Featuring Holden Thorp

The Frist Center for Autism and Innovation is excited to announce its upcoming August Salon Series Lecture featuring acclaimed scientist and editor Holden Thorp. The lecture will take place in a hybrid format on Tuesday, August 27th, from Noon to 1 PM, in partnership with the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center. Holden Thorp, the Editor-in-Chief of the Science family of journals and a professor of chemistry and medicine at George Washington University, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Before joining Science in 2019, he served as provost at Washington University and was the 10th chancellor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Thorp is a distinguished fellow of multiple scientific academies and has co-founded Viamet Pharmaceuticals, known for its FDA-approved drug VIVJOA.
