Division of Administration establishes new leadership structure to support campus operations

As part of ongoing efforts to improve operational support across Vanderbilt University, the Division of Administration has announced a new cross-functional leadership structure. The move comes after Vice Chancellor for Administration Darren Reisberg’s first three months in the role, during which he conducted an assessment of the division’s organizational needs.

The Division of Administration includes a wide range of departments that support campus infrastructure, safety, and services — including Auxiliary Services, Public Safety, Dialogue Vanderbilt, the Office for Equal Access, and Vanderbilt University – New York City.

“Rather than hiring new staff, this structure builds on the strength of our existing team by expanding the reach of services that have historically existed within Auxiliary Services,” Reisberg said. “This group will provide strategic support across all areas of the division, improving coordination, communication, and service delivery.”
The following individuals will take on expanded leadership roles:

· David ter Kuile – Chief Operating Officer, Division of Administration
Will provide strategic oversight of operations, finance, and budgeting across all DoA units.

· Kiley Stokes – Senior Director for Human Resources
Will lead onboarding, hiring, talent development, and professional development strategy across the division in coordination with existing HR leads.

· Sean Carroll – Senior Director for Communications and Marketing
Will oversee communications, marketing, and branding for the division, serving as the primary liaison to the Division of Communications and Marketing.

· Dawn Radford – Chief Business Officer, Division of Administration
Will support business operations and resource management across DoA departments.

These leaders will work closely with Reisberg and the broader DoA leadership team to strengthen support for students, faculty, and staff — and ensure Vanderbilt’s administrative operations remain aligned with the university’s mission and goals.
