The World of the University
Workshops

Participants must attend 20 total hours of workshops, with at least 6 hours in the World of the University category. Those include, but are not limited to, the governance of the university, tenure, the role of the university, diversity, the virtual university, and politics and academia.

Eligible sessions include:

• Those offered by the Center for Teaching, including the F2P2 series and GradSTEP;
• Workshops and sessions offered at conferences and by university departments and groups .

After each workshop, participants should complete responses to reflection questions [Form 1: Documentation for Workshops] and include these in their F2P2 notebook.

Participants are encouraged to take special note of both content and delivery during workshops in anticipation of leading similar sessions as part of the requirements of the program.
