Professional Development
Workshops

Participants must attend 20 total hours of workshops, with at least 6 hours in the Professional Development category. Those include, but are not limited to, sessions devoted to producing a teaching portfolio, getting published, or landing a job.

Eligible sessions include:

• Those offered by the Center for Teaching, including the F2P2 series and GradSTEP.
• Workshops and sessions offered at conferences and by university departments and groups .
• Participation in the Professional Development Cohort meetings will also count up to 4 hours towards fulfilling the workshop hours in the Professional Development track. To document your participation in the cohort, complete Form 2: Event Attendance Form.

After each workshop, participants should complete responses to reflection questions [Form 1: Documentation for Workshops] and include these in their F2P2 notebook.

Participants are encouraged to take special note of both content and delivery during workshops in anticipation of leading similar sessions as part of the requirements of the program.
