You have been provided access to this page to complete Vanderbilt University’s Protection of Minors Annual Training module. Only those individuals WITHOUT a VUNet access to Oracle Learn such as non-employees (faculty or staff), non VU enrolled student, volunteers, or others without Oracle profiles are permitted to complete this version of the youth protection annual training module. In July 2025, the university moved to one annual youth protection training (combining what was POM101 and Annual Renewal).
Instructions
Step 1: Complete the Training Course
A few items before you get started:
- As a learner you are responsible for viewing ALL content, completing the end of course quiz and policy adherence attestation.
- Please allow 25-40 minutes to complete.
- Do NOT select the blue "sign in" button on the top right of the course page - it is not required.
- At the end of the course, learners are directed to an external completion form. The form includes name, email, youth program affiliation and other key information.
- Failure to complete the linked form in the module may result in the learner having to complete the entire course again. After Form completion, you will have the option to save or download your form.
- Within the first page is a summary of training and learners select the "Start Course" to begin.
Select the link below to begin.
Step 2: Share your completion (if required).
Access your downloaded or saved response to share with your youth program director. The Youth Protection team has a repository of all completed forms.
Step 3: View the Reporting Page.
Remember you are a mandatory reporter and are obliged to follow Vanderbilt University Policy and Tennessee law for reporting youth protection concerns. Should you have any questions before, during or after a program, you are welcome to reach out to protectionofminors@vanderbilt.edu.
If you have any issues with the three steps above or questions about the module or material, please email protectionofminors@vanderbilt.edu.
