Modern conflict has created a global problem that is moving at the speed of innovation and technology. The third Vanderbilt Summit on Modern Conflict and Emerging Threats on April 17-18, 2024 will bring together internationally recognized leaders and experts in the military and intelligence community to examine the subjects of cyber conflict, artificial intelligence, peer competition and emerging threats.
The summit will explore the complexities of our world, such as threats from state actors and violent extremist organizations, and the realities of the need for cyber defense and infrastructure. The interdisciplinary gathering convenes experts in defense, intelligence, computer science, infrastructure engineering, political science, law, policy and human behavior with the goal of creating an approach that furthers understanding of and response to some of the most pressing issues our nation faces today.
Please see the 2023 and 2022 Summit webpages for information on past speakers, programming, and photos.
Hosted by Vanderbilt's Office of the Chancellor.
