The RDS team is part of Vanderbilt’s Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Innovation. RDS supports faculty members through coordination of funding opportunities (for federal and private foundation grants), strategic development of sponsor relationships and diversification of funding portfolios. RDS also manages Vanderbilt’s internal awards and limited submission opportunities.

Additionally, attendees will hear Cynthia Osborne share her expertise on building relationships with foundations. Osborne directs the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center at Peabody College. UCC Drop-In Consultation is generally helpful for students who 1) are not sure about counseling and wonder what it’s like to talk with a counselor, 2) may not be interested in ongoing therapy but would like the perspective of a counselor, 3) have a specific problem and would like to talk it through with a counselor, or 4) have a concern about a friend and want some thoughts about what to do.

Students who are experiencing an immediate mental health emergency are encouraged to attend UCC Urgent Care, instead of Drop-In Consultation. For any questions about UCC Drop-In Consultation, please call 615-322-2571.

Every Tuesday
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
