Celebrate the last week of classes and take a break from your work to come re-center and de-stress with us. Feel free to come as you need to and when you can!

Psychology Day

Psychology Day is an end-of-year celebration of psychology research on the Vanderbilt campus. Members of the Departments of Psychology and Human Development (Peabody College), Psychology (College of Arts and Science), and the broader community of scholars interested in psychology across campus gather together to discuss their research.

Peabody Iftar

Come join us for a Peabody Iftar! Ramadan is a blessed month for Muslims, during which they fast from sunrise to sunset.  At sunset, they break their fast with an evening meal called iftar.  We would love to have you join us for this communal gathering at Peabody.

The Future Is Female: But We Black? – Lunch & Learn with Nicole Joseph and Cynthia Chapple

Come learn about Nicole Joseph and Cynthia Chapple’s exciting new Research Practice Partnership that seeks to show how Chapple’s Black Girls Do STEM organization understands racialized and gendered oppression, creates curriculum and opportunities to disrupt these systems, and fundamental ideas that center Joseph’s research on Black girls and women in mathematics. Joseph and Chapple are intentionally organizing this partnership through co-construction and bringing together diverse expertise shifting power relations. Thriving Through Transitions: Leaning Into Your Talents and Strengths Workshop

The end of the semester and the school year represent a time of reflection, transition and change. This workshop will shine a light on how you can lean into your unique talents and strengths to flourish amidst all the moving parts in your life and world!

If you have already taken the CliftonStrengths assessment, get ready to take a deeper dive! Find new ways to talk about your talents and strengths as you apply for a job or field experience. Learn how to leverage your talents and strengths as you transition to a new experience or even a new relationship. Explore how you can embrace your talents and how to appreciate others’ talents at this interactive workshop led by Strengths Coaches Meaghan Mundy and Nancy Dickson.
