THIS WEEK:
Solidarity Walk/Run for Deaf Children
Donations will be used to support the Center for the Education for Deaf and Blind in Central African Republic
This is an event created by Humphrey Fellows in support of a Humphrey Fellow education project. Join us for some fun and a one-mile loop at the park together! We’ll have remarks at each hour followed by a community walk/run of the one mile loop at each hour (4 and 5 pm). It’s an open house, so stop by when you’re able to join in on the fun and give your solidarity to the great work of the Center for the Education of the Deaf and Blind in Central African Republic. It’s $5 to participate – though you’re welcome to give more in support of the project. We’ll have a raffle of international prize bags for all who give. You’re welcome to give even if you can’t join in person.
