Research Talk: Collaboration Practices Within and Between Instructional Leadership Teams for a Sustainable Pedagogical Improvement

The Peabody College Office of International Students and Affairs invites you to attend a research talk by Paulo Volante, associate professor and director of the Advanced Program in School Leadership and Management at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Paulo Volante’s research focuses on instructional leadership and school improvement initiatives. He has led research projects on virtual simulations for the professional development of school leaders, assessment for the selection and development of principals and leaders, and collaboration for teacher instructional improvement within and between schools.

In addition, Volante is a research fellow at the Asia Pacific Center for Leadership and Change; a founding member of the Inter-American Educational Leadership Network(RILE), and director of the International School Management and Leadership Conference SUMMIT UC 2022.

*The talk will be given in Spanish with English translation.

Women in Education Policy Panel

Vanderbilt’s Women in Government is excited to host a panel of female leaders in Nashville’s education system that will include Keri Randolph, Emily Masters, Virginia Pupo-Walker and Katie Cour. The panel discussion will provide attendees the opportunity to learn more about education policy decisions being made in Nashville and the experiences of these impactful female leaders executing this process. More information can be found on the Women in Government’s Instagram account @vandywig.

As a part of our end-of-semester stress-busting series, come de-stress with furry friends from Pet Project, where Peabody dogs come to campus with their faculty member owners.
