International Education Week
International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This week seeks to advance cultural understanding as well as protect cultural heritage. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Peabody Research Spotlight
The Peabody Research Spotlight (PRS) series is designed to showcase research conducted by faculty and Ph.D. students at Peabody College, and to facilitate and strengthen interdisciplinary collaborations. The series is open to prospective Peabody Ph.D. students as well.
The session will feature research labs across all five Peabody departments. Each faculty member will provide a brief overview of the work conducted in their research lab. Each presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A period.

Join us for an engaging book discussion with Professor Chris Loss, who explains why Robert’s simple, elegant handbook to democratic governance captured the imagination of so many ordinary citizens during the Gilded Age and how it has shaped the development of our colleges and universities ever since. He shows how Robert’s rules can help faculty, administrators, and students to solve problems and overcome challenges through collaboration, disciplined thinking, trust in the facts, and honesty and fairness from all sides.
