THIS WEEK:
Four-part Wikipedia Series on Editing for Social Justice: Sharing Nashville’s Story
Before there were guidebooks, we relied on guides—people in the community you could count on to show you around. In this 4-part edit-a-thon series, we ask you to be the guide, to improve Wikipedia by editing entries about Nashville sites, services and people’s movements towards social justice. Delve into Wikipedia as an activist tool, and instruction on how to become a Wikipedia editor. This series culminates with the Iris Book Club. See below for more information.
The edit-a-thon series is co-sponsored by the Peabody Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and Peabody Library, and the Iris Book Club is co-sponsored by the Peabody Office of Student Engagement & Well-Being.
