Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson: Confirmed

We would like to congratulate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on her historic confirmation to the Supreme Court of the United states. Her ingenuity and grace serve as a shining example for jurists of ALL races across the country, but we are equally proud of her as future Black attorneys,
Although history will likely never know the names of all the other Black women who were also extremely qualified for such an honor but ignored because of the color of their skin and their race, we know that they are smiling down on Judge Brown Jackson as she demonstrates to the world what some of us have always known. Black women are brilliant in every sense of the word and deserve to be wherever important decisions are being made.
