VINSE is a multi-disciplinary institute that supports research, education, and K-12 outreach across science, engineering, and medicine. VINSE facilities comprise a cleanroom with state-of-the-art nanofabrication and microfluidics, an analytical laboratory for chemical and structural characterization of materials, and advanced imaging tools including electron microscopy (EM), cryo-EM and atomic force microscopy, all of which can address both materials and biological research. VINSE facilities are open to the Vanderbilt community as well as to external partners, including non-profit and academic institutions, start-ups and industry.
