Meet our Advisory Board President, Jan Goddard
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Jan grew up and calls Jacksonville, FL home. She earned a BS degree from the University of Florida and completed graduate work at the University of West Florida where she was recognized in her cohort for Outstanding Education Leadership. Jan retired after 30 years of diverse experience including banking, advertising, technology, health care, community outreach and education. Jan moved to Nashville five years ago and immediately registered for OLLI at Vanderbilt courses. She has volunteered with the Frist Museum, Cheekwood and with OLLI as a Classroom Assistant, Chair of the Classroom Assistance Committee, she currently leads the OLLI On The Move Shared Interest Group, and has served as President-Elect of the Advisory Board for two years. She is a member of West End United Methodist Church and Vanderbilt Women’s Club. Jan enjoys spending time with her family and two grandchildren, gathering with friends and neighbors, listening to music, cooking, hiking, reading and traveling.
