Immerse Yourself.

A deeper, more complex education that integrates classroom knowledge with experience.

Immersion Vanderbilt provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to pursue their passions and cultivate intellectual interests through experiential learning. This intensive learning experience takes place in and beyond the classroom and culminates in the completion of a final project.

The Immersion plan proposal form is currently unavailable.

Students who wish to submit their first Immersion Vanderbilt form can do so in early January 2022.

Immersion is highly recommended but not required for students in their junior year during AY 2020-21. Students in the class of 2023 and years following are required to complete Immersion Vanderbilt. Visit the Immersion portal to make an advising appointment and learn more >>>

The Immersion portal tracks Immersion plans from the very first proposal to final completion of Immersion projects.
