As part of the our annual dissertation writers retreat series<\/a>, the Writing Studio will host a dissertation writers\u2019 retreat during spring break on March 7-8, 2022.<\/p>\n

To attend, registration is required by Monday, February 21<\/strong>, using the\u00a0Online Dissertation Writers Retreat Registration form<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spring Dissertation Writers\u2019 Retreat<\/h2>\n

When:<\/strong> March 7-8, 2022, 9:00am – 4:00pm each day<\/p>\n

Where:<\/strong> The Writing Studio (1801 Edgehill Ave., Suite 112)<\/a> — see special note below<\/em>*<\/p>\n

Registration required by Monday, February 21:<\/strong> Online Dissertation Writers Retreat Registration form<\/a><\/p>\n

Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by Thursday, February 24 and asked to confirm their participation by Tuesday, March 1.<\/p>\n

About the Retreat<\/h3>\n

The retreat is designed to provide dissertating students with a community of support and opportunities for goal setting and skill building alongside loosely structured time to work individually on their writing projects.<\/p>\n

Graduate students working on master\u2019s theses and other advanced writing projects are also welcome to participate. We will couple ample writing time with optional daily workshops and one-on-one writing consultations.<\/p>\n

*Special Note on location<\/h4>\n

We currently plan to offer the retreat in person in alignment with the university\u2019s plan to resume in-person activities beginning January 24. If circumstances require that we move the event online, applicants will be notified no later than February 24.<\/p>\n
