Calling for Undergraduate Writing Symposium submissions (deadline: February 5)
The Writing Studio is excited to announce the 13th Annual Undergraduate Writing Symposium, which will celebrate Vanderbilt writers through two virtual events: a creative writing showcase on April 9, 2021 and a research showcase on April 15, 2021.
Students, we are calling for your self-nominations across three categories:
- Exceptional essays by first-year authors from fall 2020*
- Advanced writing projects (research and independent study) completed or still in progress during the 2020-2021 academic year
- Creative writing from the 2020 calendar year (first- through senior-year students)
Deadline to self-nominate and submit your work: Friday, February 5, 2021

*Once again all first-year submissions will also be considered for inclusion in Scaffold: A Showcase of Vanderbilt First-Year Writing, the second volume of which from Spring 2020 is now available.
